Job Interview Preparation

Job interviews are a crucial step in acquiring employment, and PA CareerLink® Lackawanna County has the tools needed to ensure you feel confident and well prepared to ace the interview.

We offer:

  • Interviewing Skills Workshops:

  • One-on-One Interview Preparation:

    If the times of the interviewing skills workshops do not meet your schedule, call us at (570) 963-4671 to set up a one-on-one interview prep session.

  • Mock Interviewing:

    Schedule a mock interview with one of our staff members to prepare. You will come dressed as you would for the interview, and our staff will act as an employer by asking you questions and recording your answers. Once the mock interview is complete, the staff member will give you feedback on what you’re doing right and what needs some improvement.

  • Big Interview:

    This is a free, online tool available through the PA CareerLink® website. This program offers video and written lessons on job interviews and resumes. From your PA CareerLink® homepage, Big Interview can be found by clicking on the “Career Services” tab under the label “Interview Training”.
