About WIOA

The Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) was created to help strengthen the skills of our nation’s workforce. The program provides access to relevant career training specifically tailored to our local job market, ensuring that there is a job waiting for you upon completion of the program.

Through WIOA you have access to a variety of individualized services to help overcome your employment barriers. Eligible young adults can receive occupational skills training, paid work experience to build your resume, GED Remediation and support, interview and resume help, as well as recommendations and referrals to open job positions.
