WIA Orientation – An informational session where job seekers unable to find employment, who may need additional services, whether classroom training or on the job training, will learn the process to access funded services and the eligibility requirements.

Resume Writing -  This workshop will cover basic to intermediate level resume writing techniques.  The do’s

& don’ts of resume writing, how to put your knowledge, skills & training on paper in a clear concise way.

State/Federal Civil Service -  This workshop will introduce the participant to the PA State Civil Service website.  Topics of discussion will include:  civil service job search, civil service application and civil service testing.

O’NET -  Discover the type of work activities and occupations that you would like and find exciting.  You will identify and learn about broad interest areas most relevant to yourself.

Career Decision Making Workshop includes O’Net, Labor Market Information and tools designed to help a person find a direction in the job market. 

CWDS Job Search – The CWDS Job Search Workshop is an introduction to using the Commonwealth  Workforce Development System in order to locate employment listings.  The prerequisite for attendance to this class is a current Identification card with your Keystone ID, Password and Participant ID,  enrollment in the CWDS system completed to 100% and completed job preferences.  In addition to searching CWDS, there will be a brief review of alternate job search options including Internet search, government jobs and the hidden job market.

OJT – Marketing Yourself  -  How to use the on-the-job training incentive to secure employment.  Find out what it is and how it works.

Interviewing Essentials – Find out about the different types of interviews and how to handle those tough interview questions and put your best foot forward to land that next job.

Job Corps – Free education and training program that helps young people learn a career, earn a high school diploma or GED, and find and keep a good job.  For eligible youth at least 16 years of age.

Youth Information Session -  Any youth 18-21 years of age looking for job skills, training and employment.

Basic CWDS Enrollment – CWDS Enrollment is offered to participants who lack basic computer skills and need individual assistance in basic CWDS enrollment.

Preparing For Job Fair – What you need to know and how to prepare to make the most of the Job Fair.

Job Fair – Job Fair at Mohegan Sun Arena from 11:00am-4:00pm.
